Dutasteride works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that contributes to prostate growth. By reducing DHT levels, Dutasteride helps shrink the prostate, improve urinary flow, and alleviate symptoms associated with BPH.

Indications: DUTAS 0.5mg is indicated for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men, aimed at improving urinary symptoms and reducing the risk of acute urinary retention and the need for surgical intervention.

Dosage and Administration: The recommended dose of DUTAS is 0.5mg taken once daily, with or without food. It is important to take the tablet consistently at the same time each day for optimal results.
